The checklist we use to build a bank-ready file.
Company documents
- Trade licence and certificate of incorporation
- Memorandum and articles of association
- Share certificates and register of shareholders
- Establishment card
- Office lease or flexi-desk agreement
- UBO declaration
For each shareholder, director and signatory
- Passport, residence visa and Emirates ID if resident
- Proof of residential address
- CV or professional profile
- Personal bank statements, usually for the last six months
Business evidence
- Business plan with expected monthly turnover and transaction volumes
- Main customers and suppliers, with their countries
- Contracts, purchase orders, invoices or letters of intent
- Website and professional profiles
Source of funds and wealth
- Evidence for the money used to fund the company, such as bank statements, sale agreements or dividend records
- Evidence for personal wealth, such as employment history, business sale or inheritance documents
Corporate shareholders
- Attested constitutional documents of the parent company
- Structure chart to the ultimate beneficial owners
- Financial statements of the parent

Do documents need to be certified?
Banks usually verify originals or accept certified copies. Foreign corporate documents normally need attestation.
